I saw tool Friday (29th), my third time seeing them. And while this was their worst performance I've seen, and yet it still fucking kick ass!
How was this for a horoscope?
One of my buddies bailed so we picked up a friend I haven't seen in 3 years. She was cute as fuck. Jaybe, was there too and she looked amazing. And I mean amazing. She and I really need to hang out more. I always have fun around her.
BatmanWSC was there. This was his first time to a tool concert. And he walked away loving it.
There is something about seeing tool that does something for me. Maybe it is because I don't have religion, but I feel this sense of bliss at a concert like this. I feel whole and consumed by the music.
I think I need to start seeing more shows!
I know this is a brief post from me. But I really have nothing to say this week. I don't want to return to work after three days off. I despise that place so much. I guess I really should post my resumes before bed.
So tell me your favorite concert stories.
Mine was a tool show (no surprise there) back in 02, at the Mullen Center in Amherst. It was my 2nd time seeing them. I went with ShinraCorp one of his brother and his brother's friend. We were about mid level in the seats looking down on the floor crowd (as opposed to my first time when I was in the third row on the floor). And as the music played on, there was this oneness of everybody in the seats and on the floor, we all moved as one.
Ok that is it for this week I think.
(pic is of some of the lighters that were going during the show)
actually they both have, and they both starred together in that movie "Julia".
They seemed to dominate a lot of films in the sixties and seventies.
