can a smart person, or even a not-so-smart, person please explain to me how to get 8x10 prints off these websites that turn digital images to prints? all my photos are not recommended at that size, but i like to look at large photos of myself and others.

Humm, if you have a scaner/printer maybe print the photo then scan it in at 8x10 (will kill a ink cartage fast though). I'm sure there's a better answer.
