The red cups are back in Starbucks, the adverts on the telly are all happy shopping families, nothing is coming out in the cinema or being released by record companies - that's right, holidays are coming - it's nearly Christmas!!!
I love a bit of festive cheer, me - even at the start of a cold, wet and dreary November (though we've got Fireworks night in a couple of days - you Americans missed a trick with this one

In slightly odder news, Jay-Z is playing over the road from my house tomorrow night, and Morrissey the night after - I'm not going to either but I like knowing people are in my vacinity (actually, I might see if any touts are left holding tickets as it's not the most accessible bit of London)
