Fuck me sideways it's nearly Christmas, where did the year go? eek!!!
Went to Boston last week (well the tail end of week before) - great place; if New York is like London then Boston is like Dublin (and not just because of the Irish); slower pace, more friendly and laid back. Not as much to do or see, but you'll definitely enjoy what there is (though all the big record shops have closed down, which meant scouting about on foot and cab to stock up on games, CDs and DVDs). Did some xmas shopping, filled all my wardrobe gaps for a year (new jeans, shoes, jumpers, etc) and a nice new coat for winter.
Went to see Interpol when I got back; fantastic live - wasn't sure what to expect but it was a cracking gig (unfortunately it was a school night so the red wine kicked back with aveangence the next morning).
*THIS* is my favourite thing for many a moon; bit of a Goldfrapp/Dr Who theme mash-up that is wonderfully OTT - download it now, grin a lot, then send it to your friends so they can smile too!

ha! i love it. yep, come january, i will be cavorting with the best of them. no, wait, more like a beginner, level 1 type person, but hopefully it will chase away the january blues!!
