Ok, I am a 34 year old woman and I am getting married this month for the third time. I know I have fucked up twice. Why does everyone I know insist on making the third time is a charm joke or compairing me to Elizebeth Taylor? It makes my marriage seem cheap, a joke and it's really begining to piss me off. What's worse is depite the fact I don't think it's funny I laugh anyway because it's easier than asking people not to make fun of my pain. These are people who are close to me and have known me long enough to know I've been married twice. Mostly people who held me when I cried as I discoved my first wife was leaving me for my best friend. Or watched for years while I struggled to keep my second marriage together. Everyone makes mistakes, mine just involved engraved invitations. Aaargh, I am just so mad!
