Well, that was a long stint away. I got that shitty blaster worm on my pc, got rid of that and found loads of other crap as well, my system was filthy. I have spent about a week sorting it out now I think, and hopefully its ok now. If I could find one of these people who write viruses I would fart in their face, that'd teach em!
I've been out loads the past few weeks, generally being more sociable (read - drunk), which is a good thing I think, I was getting into an awful routine of work/beer/bed/work/beer/bed ad infinitum, and its not healthy.
I met some people through a friend who needed a guitarist for their band, really nice guys (and girl), went down to theirs yesterday for a kinda audition/jam thing anyway, we really gelled and they like my playing, so I'm in! Its a cool misfits type horror punk thing, and the songs they already have are really good. I'm actually excited about something for the first time in ages, hooray
Actually, tonight is extremely un rock n'roll, the missus has gone out on the razz, I could have, but did'nt fancy it, just wanna chill out tonight. I may be Irish, and as a result have a specially designed liver for drinking, (us paddys have a second one,just in case), but there is only so much my poor head can take!
Work has been a bit slow, generally selling crap guitars to people, the new manchester flagship store nicked all of my favourite guitars, and I do feel like they are mine, cos I get to play em when I want. Give em back!
Oh yeah made a great compilation cd for work, tool, snake river conspiracy mixed in with George Micheal and the black beauty soundtrack, hee hee, I love messin with peoples heads
