Well it's been rather a snowy week....

That first photo is from the woods near my house, while the second & third were taken in the village of Hathersage in the Peak District. I went to the Peak District for a date, spherical with layers (not the sexiest I've ever looked...
). Nothing to report on the date front: yet again, we got on great, but I'm not particularly fussed about a second date. Oh, and the less said about P the better. Bah :/
Otherwise, since I last posted, I've been cracking on with PhD proposal stuff and prepping for teaching. But it's not all work and unsuccessful dates: I got to go and watch Les Miserables (or as I keep calling it, Miserable Les) with my friends on Wednesday. It was absolutely incredible and, unsurprisingly, I cried
I still can't believe I didn't know the songs before now. Absolutely brilliant and easily one of my favourite musicals now
Although one lyric did command my attention in particular, especially after the Tesco fiasco:
Food beyond compare. Food beyond belief
Mix it in a mincer and pretend its beef!
Um... Cosette was raised by Tesco's head chef??
Anyway, I hope you're all well, and that the snow isn't causing you too much grief

Cool place to go for a date, why was it unsuccessful?
I've seen Les Mis in London many moons ago but I'm hoping to see it at the cinema soon but not before Django unchained
Any plans for the weekend? x
The one thing I miss about being in a relationship is that I can't drag someone along to the cinema with me to see all the films.
I went to a gig in Glasgow to see a musician called Plum on Sat and was working Sun. It was a good weekend even though I skidded on some black ice and crashed into a wall. Thankfully I was going slow and the car only had scratches x
