Happy (belated) jingly! And Happy pre-new year!
It's been a mad couple of weeks for me. First of all we lost 2 members of staff at my bar job (one was sacked and one quit) so I've been working almost daily ever since as my bosses didn't want to take on any more staff til after Xmas. Which was handy for monetary purposes, but annoying considering this means I've been getting basically no uni stuff done >.<
Yep, uni stuff is still ongoing as I'm now wading through all the PhD application stuff. The word 'Ow' is appropriate here >.<
But I did get my Masters Degree results: 85 for my dissertation (apparently out of a possible 90), and an overall grade of a Pass with Distinction for the actual degree. Plus the distinction was recommended for publication (pending a rewrite) by both examiners. So I'm pretty chuffed
Otherwise, my friends and I have had a few more mini adventures, such as more bowling, late night meals out, seeing The Hobbit & Seven Psychopaths (amazing film, btw), and so on. Currently in the works are organisations for Fake NYE. I'm working New Years Eve this year (bah), but I have the weekend after off, so there are plans to hit York, see many a museum, eat many a scone, and then drink all the things to make up for it
Jingly was pretty fun - I got an awesome Ankh-Morpork City Watch badge as a surprise from my cousin, so that was amazing

And on the day, I decided I wanted to wear my new Skull jumper, so I compensated by wearing a glittery headband. Much more festive
