whats up,
i apologize again for taking so long to update shit. were just moving around all over bagdhad it sucks. the elections are happening at the end of january and shits getting more and more nutz over here. we had 12 dudes in my platoon injured by mortar attacks two days ago. fucked up huh? a platoon has about 30 dudes in it so damn near half. mortars started raining in on us when we were in the parking lot preparing them for patrol. i was shocked to get an email from somebody on this site. didnt think anybody really read my shit or whatever. thanks to everyone who has some positive shit to say. ummm well my cds got here. i got the damned, jfa, the avengers, ill repute, a million dead cops, regans youth, public enemy, ice cube, big boys, a lot of others. dropped some duckets but it wasnt too bad. amazon you can buy used like new cds fairly good price. hmmm.. yea anyway when the mortars started raining in on us it was pretty nuts. the first one was like 45 meters away and weve all gotten used to them hitting that close.. like one or two but they kept getting closer and closer. all in all there was about 18 mortars. every one of them i was just fuckin hoping that it was the last one. im a team leader and one of my guys got hit in the leg. got shrap metal in his hamstring. he got it taken out though and stitched up hes just kinda chillin now not going on patrol or anything. umm that shit was loud and scary as shit. haha i mean we get in firefights a lot like small arms fire and i always thought that that would be more like intense than a full on mortar atttack. but i gotta say the mortar attack was way more intense. things are so loud and like every step you take its like youre not sure if you should take it cuz it may be your last step. you have no clue where theyre coming from and theres nothing u can do to stop it. when someones shooting at you at least you know what it takes to stop them. mortars are shooting from across a river and from behind a building. not a lot you can do. about mile and a half away. and u just have no clue where there coming from. like i said before. wow im rambling. okay take care
