It seems to be a week of gadgetry and alchemy!
I traded my old mobile phone for a glockenspiel(sp?). It sounds awesome. I've also been looking at those therimen thingeys, you know, the instrument that was used in "The day the Earth stood still".
I went to a play this weekend, a double date! Costume drama sucks when you're busting for the toilet! They just keep FUCKING TALKING! Second half was much better!!! Oscar Wilde rocks!
The girl I was with normally dates guys that are 20years older than her! Can you believe that?! Total Swiss bombshell, not my type tho', she's not lacking in the brain department or anything...just think she wants a patriarch of some sort...not my thing! I also get the feeling I don't quite have enough money! When intermission came I literally jumped over her to make my way to the loo! Don't think she appreciated that, HA!
A friend of mine took me to this Art store that's honestly like stepping into the seventies...we were there for hours! I was happy as a
in poop! Later we went to an estate sale, we saw some chump hiding things so he could come back and buy them when they're cheaper...turns out he was selling all this stuff on to make a profit too! Bit shitty really, a little sad too that we were wandering around someone's old house and bartering for objects that have had so many memories attached to them.
Recently aquired some new mold making rubber, it's great stuff and I've been spoiling myself in the studio covering my mad castings/things with it! I have some taxidermy (glass) eyes that just look creepy when set into the rubber!
Got some more chemicals and acids coming in the mail...can't wait!
I'm also getting closer to shooting some slides!!!! AT FUCKING LAST!
