wednesday. eleven forty-eight pm.
(god's reflex - how i learned to unwind)
had the day off today. i haven't had a weekday off in a billion years. i needed one though. i had a lot of those little errands that seem to escape me on a day to day basis to get out of the way. it just turned into a lot of running around though.
my plans were to get my georgia driver's license, get georgia plates for the grand am (i named her fern. she's a sweet old lady who's been blessed with the gift of gab. ), switch my car insurance from the celeb to the grand am, and go speak to an academic advisor at athens tech.
i started off at the dmv to get my plates. they said i needed to get my car insurance switched over first. since that was close by the campus, we (the_piranja and i) stopped by athens tech next. somehow i just randomly lucked out and today and monday were going to be the academic advising days for the cosmetology program. the program director squeezed me in right after i arrived. sometimes things really can just work out. i got all set up for taking my prereqs for the program. i'll be taking english 101 and sct 100 (introduction to microcomputers). i think sct should be quite easy. obviously i know how to operate a computer and i had two computer applications classes in highschool. english 101 shouldn't be that bad, i really need to quit being so down on myself and my english skills. so what if my junior year ap teacher was an axewound and basically had it in for me. i need to get over it. hopefully i'll do well in this course and i can quell my fears about english courses from here on out. i guess i'll just have to find out. it's just so subjective. i'll take these two classes five days a week for one semester and then next semester i'll have to take emp 100 (interpersonal relations and professional development). i don't think this should be so bad either. i was going to be in math 100, but i'm going to test out of that. then i'll be ready to enter the program summer semester. i'm getting excited that i'm actually going to be back in school.
after we got done at the college, we headed over to georgia state patrol to get my license switched from illinois to georgia (finally!). alas, i had neither a copy of my birth certificate nor a passport so that was a no-go. i'll have to wait for mama to overnight me my birth certificate. next, off to state farm to switch the policy from the celeb to the grand am. that actually went fine. as soon as i get ahold of my bc i'll be good to go. too bad i didn't get to switch my driver's license today as i made a point of not looking like a total slob for once.
had to practice the perfect "non-smiley smile" for my new license. hah!
other than that, we went borders. i got a decorative crafts source book for $5.99. i love to buy clearance books there. now i can decoupage the whole house! waah! i also purchased a bali hai chai. yum! it's a chai with coconut. i also requested some cinnamon. deeelish!
i'd have to say, having the day off from the normal drudgery of work really makes it seem like i accomplished a lot. i hardly ever write novels for journal entries.

You are enormously hot and have an amazing butt!!
adam and eve were naked in the garden of eden... in his image. in a wicked sinful image? surely not! what is wrong with appreciating the human form? especially if you are of the notion that it is modelled after god.
Loves out to ya'.... succinct with a dash of profundity How did you knowyes it is just the way I like it no return receipt necessary.
I got my eye on ya. I would appreciate the chance to get to know ya and ensconce my mental upholstery with your witticisms. So may I please offer you a formal friend invite?
And sincerely, as I began to read the thread the thoughts I had did form and as along I did read to find you post most alarming, as to my own thoughts did find a new home in you lines.
Cheers and I is nice to meet you.
