Happy Thanksgiving, American friends! Happy November 23, non-American friends!
This year was more like Thanksgiving lunch, as we were accomodating the horrific work schedules of my brother and his girlfriend, who both work at a restaurant, and thus had a very busy day ahead of them. So, by 2:00, "dinner" was over, and everyone was feeling fat and happy. I did my usual apple pie, EnergyChannel made delicious green bean casserole, and mom did the turkey and stuffing. My brother rocked out on the mashed potatoes and gravy, and everything turned out wonderfully well. Mom gave us the carcass with plenty of meat left on it, so we're currently boiling it down to make soup.
Another step towards being an actual grownup: we now have a dining table and chairs! Yay us! Now we can have dinner parties and our dining room can actually be a dining room.
Mmmm, the smell of turkey is filling the house. Perhaps I'll be hungry again in a few hours.
I hope you all are having a great holiday/non-holiday!
P.S. I'm very happy there's now a Veronica Mars group. I need an outlet for my addiction.

So, this is turning into an annual tradition for us, but any chance you're going to be in town the week before Christmas? I'm flying in on the 20th and would love to get coffee sometime at the very least.

thanks, sparky.
