It's not that I don't love you, SG journal, it's just that I have nothing to say. No wisdom to impart, no glowing, life-changing experiences to share. Life is going along on its merry way, but it's not journal-worthy. It's just life.
Summer will bring a number of changes. My bestest friend from high school and his boyfriend will finally be moving up in August. He's been wanting to move since I moved in 1997. Now it's finally happening!
There is also the strong possibility that EnergyChannel will soon have his son back in Portland! This is also very exciting, as it means we will have him more often, and can curtail his mom's influence. It also means my baby won't need to drive to Seattle every weekend. We get to take him to Eagle Lake this year for the first time. I'm sure he'll love it, and my only hope is that he doesn't get bored. Actually, my other hope is that we can fit the three of us and all of our stuff into one car.
As chaos dictates, both the ex-wife and my friend will be moving during the same time, so if you guys don't see us much for the first part of August, that will be why.
There's also that pesky high school reunion in mid-August, which I still can't decide if I want to attend. Especially with everything else going on. I just really don't care about 95% of my classmates. But I'm still on the fence. We'll see.
I think I'm out of things to say. I'll try to update a bit more often, even if it's mundane. I know I like reading all of your journals, regardless of the topic, so maybe someone out there feels the same about mine.

You can skip the ten year. I believe that. But you have to go to the 25 year... so long as you're fantastically successful. Or something.
