I suffer from insomnia, not even melatonin helps. I've tried every sleeping pill my doctor could prescribe and nothing works. As of last night I've started a new night time ritual. A little camomile, lavender, and mugwort bundle. Amethyst for a calm mind and to ward of nightmares. To invite peaceful, high-vibration energy. Selenite for clean energy and to be a charging source. Obsidian for protection, especially for shielding against negativity and psychic attacks. For grounding, linked to the Root Chakra, to help feel safe and anchored. Emotionally cleansing, Helping to uncover and release subconscious fears or blockages. For more dream protection, warding off nightmares and intrusive energy while I sleep. Obsidian has a sharper, more intense energy than tourmaline which a lot of people use for similar reasons but I currently only own obsidian. I found it to be too strong near my bed. It became a bit counter productive. I place it slightly farther away and paired it with calming stones. I already had amethyst so I added rose quartz to soften the energy. I also wrote out affirmations. I took the amethyst and placed it at my Sahasrara(crown) Chakra and focused on calming my mind and inviting serenity. I spent a lot of time focusing on my breathing and my intention. This is all very new for me and if you have any suggestions or tips I welcome them.
