Those basic things you mentioned are everything I'd like to have too. I think they are the best things you can have in life.
A place to call home, to share with the one you love and raise your children. To me, not much else matters, and like you I let life take it's course. Though sometimes you have to set it straight.
Sounds like you have good dreams, now you just need to work towards them. I hope they come to you.
