Third week in a row!
This time @Rambo and @Missy ‘s proposal is "Teach us something interesting".
I’ve been thinking about this blog the last days and I couldn`t decide what to write about…so I’m going to explain why my name is BABEL because I’m sure most of you don’t know the answer.
It’s a combination of 2 things I love and enjoy daily: LITERATURE and MUSIC.
One of the things I love the most to do in my free time is reading and one of my favorite writers is Jorge Luis Borges. He wrote a book called "La biblioteca de Babel" (Babel's library) and I really like it! Here is a summary: The story is the speculation of a universe composed of a library with all possible books, in which the books are arbitrarily ordered (or unordered), and predates the man.
Since I was a little child I have a crush on Gustavo Cerati, an argentinian musician (in fact, I have 2 tattoos related to him). He has a song called "Rio Babel" (Babel river) which says "flow without a purpose rather than flow".
