So, my lady and I are revisiting all the Harry Potter movies before we go see the new one at the theatre. Tonight was the third one, and I liked it much better than I expected. I'd seen a few years ago, but I'd read the book shortly before, so at the time it seemed like a wild and wacky distorted-mirror carnival tour of the story, one that I was unable to connect with.
Re-watching the first two, they mostly seemed like cheesy kid stuff - so I'm glad they're out of the way, and I'm happy how much I enjoyed the Prisoner of Azkaban tonight.
On another amusing note, earlier today during a routine sign installation with my trusty 8lb sledge, a mom and two kids decided I was good entertainment, sat down a few metres away, and oo'd and aww'd at everything I did for around ten minutes. I did my best to keep myself from laughing too much at the absurdity of the situation, or strutting around too much with my chest puffed out. Perhaps I should focus more on turning my installations into a kind of performance art (jumping and dancing and shit on fire!) then I could expect that kind of attention a lot more often.
