A while back I had a journal on Free open diary. It was there that I was brave enough to start sharing the stuff I've been writing since I was 14 (you do the math.. ok.. stop laughing ) But the site was horrible and was pretty much nothing but a bunch of pissed off kids bitchin about their parents. Anyway, a friend of mine has had a journal on here for quite a while and he turned me onto SG. So, I ditched FOD, picked up m'luggage and settled down here.
The story is a sort of gothic fairy tale. I had written a lil thing a while back and posted it on here, got to thinkin about what i wrote and it spawned all sorts of ideas. Then bam, my brain gave birth. Heres the entry if you want to ck it out: http://suicidegirls.com/members/Spiral/104800/
I did make changes to make it flow better, and Im happy with the end result.
I wish I could say its going to be published in book form, but its not. (working on that) I submitted it to www.gothicfairytales.com and well, heres the email : Your story GLIMMER will be published in our next issue of Gothic Fairy Tales due online in mid to late September. (I will send you a notice the day we publish as a reminder.)
Thank you again for your submission to G.F.T.
That was step#2, for me Another test to see if someone that reads literature all the time would actually like it. I thought I was gonna puke when I sent it.. Im totally stoked about it all, Im always so judgmental about my stuff, I get all meh when I post on here, and always surprised by the comments I get back.
You guys have helped me alot by readin m'stuff and givin comments. I love you all! and because of the feedback, I got brave enough to submit my story. So thank you guys so so much.. Once it comes out in paper (and it will, even if I have to do it all by my lonesome), youre all getting a copy to stick in your bathroom.

I definitely want to read it, so I'm going to send you my electronic mail address. I know what you're saying about showing people your work. SG is the only real outlet I have for my poetry, only 2 other people have ever read any of it. I guess it feels safer here because you can't see people's immediate reactions. Speaking of:
Enter blue beneath.
Instrument raped by deceit.
Exit blue belief.
More RnR to come this weekend, Friday night my friend's band is having a CD release party, Saturday I'm hanging out with another friend, and Monday I'm ditching class to go to Six Flags with like 10 people.
Talk to you soon
P.S. My tattoo wraps around most of my left bicep.

What part of Louisiana if you don't mind my asking? I actually lived in Metarie for a few years when I was growing up.
The individuals in question aren't politically correct, just sensitive to the word I think. I have to admit, it's a funny thing to be thin-skinned about. I think I'll keep the title and change the cover a bit...
