So as you may or may not know, I've been hurting for a job for a while now. Well, maybe that's exaggerating it, but I have been looking. Well one finally presented itself, but it's doing the exact same thing I've done for the past two years.
Now I won't lie, the primary reason I quit my last job was because the bosses were family, and honestly, it's just a weeny ass idea to work for family. It's like long distance relationships. We hope it's fine, but most likely, it won't be. However, another factor was simply the fact that it was nothing more than a part time job to make a bit of scrap while I'm taking classes, and after two years doing the same thing, I wanted a change of scenery. I was getting tired of packing orders and making boxes all day.
So now we hit my conundrum. I mean, I'm not taking any classes this semester and I have little going on, but I have recently applied to many jobs and I'm sure several interviews will come up. But this seems like a sure thing, and you know, if you watch How I Met Your Mother, then having this job will at the very least give me a reason to put on pants in the morning. I just really wish it wasn't to go back to doing the same work again.
Course I'm not an idiot, I'm going to the interview for sure. There's no harm in doing that much. It's just that at this point, I'd almost rather work in a McDonalds than keep doing what I've been doing.
We shall see what happens.
