Pulp Fiction was my favorite movie of all time for quite a while before it was eventually dethroned by quite a few films, then today in class, while discussing the auteur theory the professor decides to play a bit from the flick.
Now you have to understand, I've seen it upwards of 10 times, I know all the lines and bits of dialogue, the whole deal. However I haven't seen the damn thing in a couple years now, so while I still knew the lines, I had forgotten how the movie really worked together.
It was interesting seeing it again cause I was so damn surprised to see how well the dialogue worked together. It all seemed effortless, which is a hell of a lot different from easy. The dialouge in Pulp is pretty fucking far from easy, but as an experiment in effortless dialogue, it's fantastic.
I don't know how to explain it, I knew what each character was going to say and when, but seeing it as a whole once again kind of blew my mind. I may have just fallen in love with this flick once more.
And yeah, I understand this post is quite redundant, I'm sorry for not having a massive vocabulary at the moment.
