Hi all
Back home safe and sound! The flight was a long 10 hours but there was extra room as the flight was not fully booked so I could atleast sit comfortably. I must say I miss the constant buzz of bigger cities, Johannesburg is geographically the same size as London but it lacks the more open minded attitude of London's people as well as the vibe.
Back to work!! Super yuck! I am glad to see my friends as well as my beloved little peugeot 206.
My new little BeGoth doll looks lovely on my antique dressing table, her name is Raven.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a really mundane existence here, it's very comfortable but I am so fricken complacent, I really need to adjust my attitude and make an effort to get out and do more stuff outside the scope of work, gym, studying and nightclubs. Having access to masterpieces in all the Art galleries in Europe has created a hunger in me, infortunately our country is kind of starved regarding musems and touristy things, unless you are into wildlife. I like wildlife but it is not exotic to me as I have grown up in a country where you can take a 40 minute drive out of Johannesburg to a nature reserve to play with Lion cubs (at a cost of course ). Art galleries filled with master pieces created by visionary artists from Europe's rich history, to me that is totally exotic
Anyway back to the hum drum....
