I had the pleasure of working with this fantastic photo conceptual artist a short time ago. Joseph Hammond has a gallery show at Toronto's Ryerson University coming up so please check him out!
This particular piece is inspired a lot by Gustave Doré, as we shared a lot of discussion about his art and my Doré wings. My tattoo is from his work in Paradise Lost, and Joseph added another pair from Dante's Inferno on my bum. Fitting that the wingspan fits perfectly!
The show runs from January 8-19, with the reception on the 12th from 6:30-8:30. It's at 122 Bond Street, IMA 310 Gallery within the Ryerson School of Image Arts. Give it a look!
