Hello Everyone and hope everyone is having an if anything, tolerable monday ;)
I hope everyone's Mother's day was full of mother wooing and appreciation. I spent Saturday with one of my moms (I have a few heh.) getting my new raised garden bed in order and getting new flowers planted around the house.
So I'm getting uber excited that my first set will be hitting member review in just under a week! I'm also somewhat excited and a little nervous that my 2nd set with be coming out just 2 weeks after that :/ We shall see how that turns out. Regardless, I am just happy to have an opportunity to be apart of this awesome community. I really went into this with no expectations and just see what happens and I will continue to just have fun with it! And I thank every single one of you awesome people who read along and share your life with me as well! It is genuinely appreciated.
My mother's day was epic. I got a home made greeting card from my kids. Breakfast in bed and then visited my mom. After that, we put the cellphones and electronics down and just went for an adventure with the kids downtown. As a techie and lover of all that is internet, as much as I love my electronics, I love to remind my kids that, that is not all there is to life. So I like to make sure to get them out to experience life without the Facebook and Xbox. To look up and see beyond the pixels. We ended up at the weekly Red Door car meet and walked through and saw all the awesome cars. We walked over 5 miles, went to a pizza place and yes, we let them have ice cream at 10 o'clock at night. Why? Because it'll be worth the ice cream hangover at 7am when I have to get him to school ;). After that I curled up and laughed hard at Anchorman 2. It was a great day. I hope everyone's mother's day was as awesome as that.
