Another dentist appointment. And it never fails that I absolutely hate them.
Having to take my piercings out with needle nose pliers for no reason as they didn't do xray's and waiting FOREVER to be seen. Announce to them I am terrified of needles only to have the constant question as always "Then how come you have so many tattoo's?" oh jeeze... alright, then. Let me explain this for the MILLIONTH time. Tattoo needle, only goes down a couple layers, you can't see the needle and it really feels like a sunburn most of the time. A giant needle on the other hand, chocked full of numbing agent you're going to shove as far into my gums as possible is going to stay there, for however long and it gives me no personal satisfaction aside from I know you're going to insure my teeth don't fall out for a very long time. So, with that being said, I thank you for your service but please refrain from the condescending questions when I was simply explaining to you something so you can brace yourself accordingly and I can try to make your job a bit easier. kthx.
After all is said and done, I has the cleans teeth and new fillings and I am going to sip my tea through this straw and count down the minutes until the feeling returns to my face so I can friggin eat without taking a chunk out of myself.
