Couldn't find an odd energy drink, so I improvised. Tastes like regular bbq chips if you ask me, jussss sayin...
So I suppose I will write a blog of how my day went... First off, thank you all for the support and kind words. It means a lot that you took time out of your day to read this massive blog about some guy you've never met and their importance to a random person on the interwebs. I am so thankful for my support system around me. I am not the most open person who shares the feels all the time but it is nice to know when I am, I have people in my life willing to drop what they're doing in their busy days to support me on what is a difficult day for me.
Not to mention it is amazing to get reassurance that I'll be okay from people around me like this one...
^ Love that mom.
So I went for a visit to Zack's mom and his grandmother... It did not go as planned at first... Zack's grandmother has always been a bit forgetful and it doesn't help that I change my looks quite often. This is how the conversation went when I knocked on her door with flowers in hand...
Me - "Hello. I'm looking for your daughter." She stares blankly at me... So I ask "how are you?" She immediately cuts to the chase. "Are you trying to sell me flowers?" *facepalm* So I reply "No, I'm here for Zack's birthday. Remember me? Zack's friend?" In this case she either remembers me or doesn't and still pretended she did haha. Zack's mom is an interesting lady as well. Every year is a new, interesting topic we discuss (She brings up sensitive topics that are typically big no no's with anyone.) last year was gays trying to take over the world? lol this year it was vaccinations and how she's now on the no fly list and believes the government is cutting out her dial up (I wasn't aware they still offered it either.) Either way, I enjoy her company and try to gently debate my opinions in return.
After having that conversation I went out to the favorite Sushi restaurant with my long time girlie Ashari. She ordered Zack's favorite, the Jolene roll which is a fairly big roll and I decided it would be a great idea to be extremely inappropriate and blurt out sexual innuendo's causing her to damn near spit it out.
"Yeah, take it all! Get in there nice and deep like!"
I drove, a lot. I wanted to drive even more, but time restraints said otherwise. I took solace in my music and I smiled, laughed, cried and made sure to have a techno dance party as well. I listened to Macklemore's "Hold your head up" at least 20 times and found comfort in it.
When I got home I got a glance at my rare, impossible to kill window spider, Larry.
Some people in my house did not react well to Larry's presence...
So that happened. I ended my night at a Shari's because if you knew Zack, chances were, you'd been dragged to a Shari's at a late hour. I cried in the parking lot. I couldn't go in by myself. Luckily a friend around the corner was nice enough to come and have some late night food and visit with me. I spent my day as though I was with him and I ended my night the way I would have if he were still around. and I have a part of him with me always.
