Well hello all you awesome peoples!
I am sitting comfortably back in my bed. It is a bittersweet feeling as I never really want to go home but do enjoy the comforts of my home.. Odd, I know.
So I thought I would share my travels with you as I decided to take a trip down the coastal highway from Oregon into California.
I went to the aquarium where I got to explore all that is fishies. (MY NAME IS FISHY!!!, if you get that reference, I will love you forever.)
Got to try out the new camera. Sadly, I did not try out the nifty 50 that we bought along with it, eh, it'll happen when it happens.
Went along down the highway and decided to hang with the Dinosaurs
And yes, I was a dork the ENTIRE time. :)
So after hanging with the dinosaurs (which is pretty flippin awesome.) I moved along to one of my favorite places to visit, The Redwoods. I always have and always will feel complete bliss when standing in a forest. Whether it is the first time or the millionth time, I never get tired of the sounds, smells and feelings that are associated with a forest. Especially since it was raining the entire time. Which kinda puts a damper on things but, it also sheds a whole new experience.
After running around the cold wet tall trees, An adventure ensued as we drove aimlessly towards the northern California border. And these are shots done out of boredom after driving for hours and hours through an array of weather.
An idea of Azrea’s perfect driving playlist consists of;
Phoenix- Lisztomania
Puscifer – The Mission
Miranda Lambert- Fastest Girl In Town
The Lumineers – Stubborn Love
Macklemore – Life is Cinema
Macklemore – White walls
Takenobu – Method and The Masses
The Eagles – Life in the Fast Lane
Many more but there’s a mini list.
Oh my gosh its a friggin rainbow!
After getting our fill of aimless driving and American back roads (which can be downright sketchy sometimes) We decided to go explore some wild life and this is what I got to experience...
The manic depressive monkey.
We were told to not feed the turkeys, as they were wild and just showed up unannounced. What a bunch of jerks lol
But damn were they majestic haha
So after enjoying the animals for a bit, I got to stare death in the face and it looked oddly similar to an emu.
I did not have the guts to offer this psycho bird the food in my hand. You best believe I left there with the 10mph speed limit quickness. IT WANTED MY SOUL!
But I did offer these animals food, in which they refused me. That's alright, it's cool. I see how it is.
And from there the trek home happened and now I am going to be comfy, have a beer and plan my next adventure!
