Jeez. Finally back online.
We had some ridiculous thunderstorms here in Central PA the last couple of days.... needless to say my internet was also knocked out. Thanks to Comcast and their "sterling" customer service..I am now back to blogging.
So what has happened the last couple of days? Not much really. The workout is going great, today I started off my fast. I will eat normally for today and friday, then back on over the weekend. Pushups are up to 15 and sittups are up to 40 now, though running still needs to come down in time.
I have recently was in talks with a beautify young woman who would like to submit some photos to Ladies of Metal...which is new to me..I never heard of that group. Unfortunately...this young woman doesn't even listen to metal.....so, I think on principle theres a problem. Oh well, we'll see how this set will turn out.
I took some photos of the menu at local bar here in Harrisburg...Luckily....they made my favorite sub...so I had came home with some leftovers.
The other big news is that I will be moving out of my apartment at the end of the month. Harrisburg is nice enough, but responsibilities beckon. My mom's health has recently taken a turn for the worse, and since I am the only unwed child, and my life is more....care free....to a degree...I think it's only right to move back home and help out until I need to leave for basic training.
Moving back home sucks....especially at 27....after being on your own for years. But rather then stay in my apartment, alone and stressing over my mom's condition, it would make more sense to move back and help out. My Dad I know appreciates it, but outwardly they both put up a good shield for my life.
The way I see is this way. I barely spend anytime in my apartment as it is, except to work on my own design work. I used to have an office downstairs in my parents house anyways, so no problem there. Financially it makes more sense, I need to save up a decent amount before Basic Training, and the minimal rent I would at home isn't a big deal.
I am single and not the most forward when it comes to dating anyways, so staying at home again isn't going to disrupt anything major in that department. In March, I will be leaving for Basic, so having everything at my parents house will save me the hassle of moving out of my apartment and back home anyways. With Basic and AIT, I will full time military for 24 weeks, almost half a year, so cutting on my monthly expenses before I leave will definitely save me in the long run.
The upside is now I have a full bar to come home to every night, and a deck to sit on and chill. I have 6 months unti I leave....I can do this.
On another note...our new Marketing Director I discovered has a Bleeding Through tattoo on the back of her neck......the day job is getting interesting!
Highlights of the Day:
Band/Song: Orbital & Kirk Hammet/Satan
Article: Lumpy....Fucked up in Nova Scotia
Quote: "If you shave her head, she looks like Ed Rendell" - Peach
And if your old enough to remember then Spawn movie....
