Productive day today!
I was sitting in my office listening to remixes of Jefferson Airplane. I needed a break from Mastodon and Dillinger Escape Plan for a little bit. So somehow....I became enthralled doing this 3D perspective booth map that is a diagram of how my day job is going to setup at this conference in Philadelphia. Playing around in Illustrator is always a treat, because I always find a new trick and shortcut on how to do something cool.
The day job is a state level medical organization, that is part of national organization. Because I am their social media and graphic design specialist, I mystify the shit out everyone on what I actually do. Just so that I won't pull my own blog post reference from SG into my monthly report...I won't use the organizations name, I will just refer to them as "pFap". It's weird, but it's fun to say.
Pee Fap....pee fap.....p fap. pFap.
Now my boss won't question why we are getting reference on SG. I really don't feel like explaining SG to raging republican who supports Rick Santorum.
Upon coming back to jungle humid apartment, I remembered that I need to post a photo of myself so people can put a face to the musings.
Being that I live Central PA, the land of raging republicans, pennsyltucky, and median age of 64, It's quite shitty in the terms of night life unless you like getting stabbed at crappy "clubs", watch the hippies form a drum circle along the Susquehanna or get shot when you need to drive by the Alison Hill.
Luckily, there are some great places to check out bands OUTSIDE of the city proper.
Hopefully one of the SG girls, hopefuls and members who live in Central PA will hit me up and we can go see some good bands in Lancaster.
So back to music....I came across this video and remix of "Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane. This is shot beautifully, the girls are gorgeous, it's super fun and just generally all around a sweet vid.
