Yesterday we went and looked at houses. We found some we really like, and a lot can be built to our standards and such. So now we have to get the property value assessed and go from there. The property will serve as a down payment, so we're trying to decide if it's more important to pay off existing debt, or set money aside for it. Supposedly it could be built in 3-4 months. If we take the model that they're currently selling (which, honestly, was totally fucking awesome, and we both wanted it so bad) we could be moving in by Feb/March, cause we can get all the crappy stuff done before big snow hits. It also comes with everything but a washer and dryer. Booya!
We've decided to move on with our lives and not worry terribly much about Kansas. They're doing all sorts of crazy shit that doesn't make sense right now. So they can speak to our ridiculously expensive lawyer that I had to sell my soul to get.
Home sick today. My throat is sick again. And getting into my doctor's office is a pain in the ass.
I'm hoping to get Spore this weekend. And my laptop decal.
I have to officially learn to drive stick. The inlaws are cutting their strings, and Will's car is cheaper and better on gas than my old beastie. However, he sucks as a driving instructor. And I know the basics, but I haven't rolled them all together to make it work.
I really can't wait until the roof is finished, and/or we move out. which ever comes first.

you'll get the hang of a standard... just practice until you learn how it wants to go and when.. it's kinda like getting used to a new lover.
