Wow its been a long time since I posted. Let see the rundown of whats been going on:
I got a job working in an operations center in Tempe nights for Wells Fargo Bank in their payment management center. Its 3rd shift so I can be home with the kids which is great and it pays well and the manager is super cool as well as the people I work with. My manager isn't the typical manager...he hired me after 2 phone interviews basing me on my resume. I told him I was surprised because if I had blue hair and piercings all over it might have changed his viewpoint and he said since there wasn't direct contact with the customer things like that didn't matter to him. And well he sounded so professional and like a blue collar type guy and when I got there I didn't even realize he was my manager when he walked by. He was wearing casual clothes, has his head shaved bald and has the long goatee going on. He actually was in a band at one point. He likes to go out and have fun. He thinks that work should be fun just as long and everything gets done. He strongly believes in promotions and well says this job is cake for me and that he wants to promote me in a couple months when a TSS position comes up (namely the technical support area of the dept im on). They make awesome money. In fact more than management so I'm so excited to get the opportunities. I always enjoyed working with Wells Fargo. Worked there almost 5 years a couple years back. Just that when I had to go on bedrest when I was pregnant with my daughter and all that it didn't balance so I stayed the stay at home mommy except for odd job here and there. It was the one place I worked my ass off and enjoyed it and was promoted for my efforts a few times.
So anyhoo its a great job and I'm loving it.
Next the partnership drawn out with the lawyers and such has finally been set to wrap up this weekend (keeping fingers crossed). Once that goes through Gabe will get a raise. He has been interviewing people for a couple positions so he can free up more time for him during the day and he plans very soon to work even less hours than he has which is awesome!
We also got a newer car. I thought it time with me going back to work. Its a 2000 Hyundai Accent. We found a place that would work with our bad credit which is awesome and we are leasing it along with a warranty of 10 dollars extra a week making a total of 49/wk which is awesome for people with bad credit! This place specializes with people with credit issues. After our lease ends we have a 1 dollar buyout so one extra buck and the car is ours and its nice that they pay for the oil changes and most of the fixes with the warranty (except for normal tears items like hoses, brake pads etc).
Its got ICE cold A/C and awesome gas mileage. It beats the 1983 Caprice we have. We will be getting another car soon hopefully to replace that one as well. Unfortunately the 1995 Chevy Caprice we bought a little while back only lasted a week and died and have no clue whats wrong with it so we decided to forget it and look to other options rather than buy another car off someone. The bummer things was that we charged the Corsica a/c and it was ice cold...just sucks it died or it would have been a good car. Anyway we are looking to sell the car for a fixup if someone can figure out whats wrong or for parts.
Well many good things have been happening. Things have been going awesome
Going to wrap this thing up and will write more hopefully when I can
