Well, the weekend just gone marked the 31st time that I have rotated the sun! Luckily here in Western Australia we have very little in the way of rules in regards to COVID. A mix of being so isolated AND the fact that the general population has been distancing has allowed life to come back to relative normality.
It was a great party, food was epic, the cheesecake I made was really good and people had a great time! Sadly the party marked the beginning of the end of that high.
So it turns out that two ex-staff have been talking and finding ways to get me in trouble and potentially fired. They have said that i have been opening up the store for my own events as well as stealing stock. Im so upset as I tried my hardest to help them both out. One of them is a lazy man-child, he just doesnt care for anything, he was fired because he weirded out female customers, wouldnt listen to instructions and would do his own thing on shift. The second was just a useless worker who couldnt cope with things that werent written down in step by step, he couldnt cope at looking at the roster either which lead to him not turning up to shifts. Add this to his inability to cover shifts (something needed from a casual), its no surprise that they were let go. Seems they want to cause trouble for me though, I just hope that the owner of the company sees through this. Im pretty indispencable right now, we just recorded our biggest week ever, 2 weeks after getting the previous record! We are on track for the $1 Million year I wanted at the beginning of the year!
