I went to the wine fair tonight. As noted in the previous post, I had my battle plan prepared and I got more or less maintained.
My redefinition of the French map. Okay, I admit, my hex is quite conceptual.

This year I bet on the Bourgogne. The Bordeaux and the Rhone Valley are well represented too!
Some of my favorites.
The Domaine de Brazalem (Buzet) is one of my best bets. I bought a box of 2005. I left to watch and it was a great success. Hence my purchase of two magnums of 2006.

A small Beaujolais. A region that innovates on the labels.

Finally, my sure bet in Sauternes, the Chateau Doisy Daene. Gru ranked second. Not too expensive (30 to 45 euros) and as good as the first classified growths. The 2010 vintage was considered as good as the Chateau d'Yquem (the best of the best of Sauternes).

Another happiness of the day: the set of Yankee_ in MR. As beautiful as her sister, Sunshine!!!
