i'm looking at new cameras to buy. something of a semi-pro grade dSLR. like a nikon d50 or d70. i had a minolta i was looking at, but then i saw some photos from it, and i decided definitely not. nikon cameras i can trust.
i'm making plans... looking at quitting my job within the next 60 days. it's exciting beyond words, and also more frightening. i've got a lot of photography and design jobs coming up, and i need to be able to devote time to them. plus, they'll pay better than my current job. by a lot.
i still haven't talked to my gm about my intentions to leave, but i will soon. she'll probably be happy for me, but also upset that i'm bailing on her before the holidays. who knows...
i'm still excited. anyhow, if you all know of anyone who needs some photography work [portraits, band photos, weddings/event photography, etc.] or any graphic or web design done, have them get in contact with me. i'll hook them up.
