{music}Story of the Year: Anthem of Our Dying Day
Some random people I admire:
Alica Keys: she's real. She have a phenominal voice, she writes all her own songs, and she's a good actress as I saw in one of her videos. She doesn't use her body to sell albums, she uses her god given talent - her voice.
Davey Havok: the boy gets a lot of shit. His band gets huge backlash now, as well as recieving a lot of attention from the TRL generation - girls screaming at him now, fans swarming, show getting entirely out of hand. Everyone wants some sort of piece of him. Not to mention the constant rumors flying around that he's gay, and he's bi, and he's dating AFI's guitarist, Jade Puget. Despite all that shit, he's always a sweetheart and hardly has anything bad to say. He makes time for the fans, and his friends. He's true to himself, acts and talks the way he wants and just doesn't care. I love that about him. There are so many things about him that anyone could fall for, this would be it for me.
Twwly: I've admired this girl from day one. She always has good advice. She's original, and she doesn't take shit from anyone. Like Davey, she's true to herself. So many people want to fit into some sort of mold nowadays, no one believes in indivituality. I think that we can all learn from Twwly.
Katie: She is one of the reasons I decided to model for SG. She's fucking hot. I like how she just posts about her life. Not about anything special, just writes about daily events. It makes her that much more interesting. She's stronger than she realizes, I think. And there's always something philosophical in her journal entries, something to learn, something to take to heart. She's wonderful, and I dare you not to agree with me.
Amber: my best friend. I've known her since October, met her at an AFI show. Most if not all of her friends know that she's friends with the above mentioned band, and it seems to me that a couple of those friends are only friends with her because of that. And she knows that. But she still gives them a chance. She's very caring and trusting to those who earn it. She's uberloyal. Whenver I've needed someone to fall back on, she's always been there, no matter what. Not many people have accepted me for who I am, because who I am is confusing, complicated and contridictory. (the three C's!) But...she did. I love her, I really do.
