So, once again, I'm sick.
Someone come feed me chicken noodle soup, and run your hands through my hair until I fall asleep on your chest.
I miss my mom now.
Anyways, woo! Money this week! Photos this week!!! w00t w00t!!!!! Hehehe, see, me and feltonjoe are teaming up for a workshop this week. Yes, I have found myself an official photographer. (Again, w00t w00t!!! Wow, think the Nyquil's kicking in.) He's holding a photography workshop this week, and yes, if you want in, you have to pay. Please? I need money too!!!!
PLUS, there's an open photoshoot afterwards (yes, must pay there too). Sooo if any of you are photographers, or looking to break into photography and wanna bulk up your portofolio fivefold in one night (there will be me and four other model) - guess what? God just smiled down on you.
But seriously kids of the Bay Area, consider it.
In other news, audiences find zombies more appealing than Christ.
Now there's a shocker.
Did I mention I feel like Jackson, Mississippi?

So yeah, today spelled blast. I got $308 in my paycheck. Add the $12 I already had and I had $312 to play with. So after cashing my paycheck and getting my grub on, I headed on over to Valley Fair Mall to pick up some new shoes.
OF COURSE, it just wouldn't be a complete trip to the mall if I didn't hit Hot Topic. So in I went, and one of the guys that was working today was also one of the people I ran into briefly at an A.F.I. show back in October in downtown San Jose. We both saw we were rocking the band wear, people must have thought we were groupies because we both yelled from across the store "Rock the letters!!!" Anyways, picked up some new earrings, hoops and half hoops there because for some reason, I can't wear posts anymore in my cartilidge (sp?) piercing, or else the skin around my ear starts to glaze over and pus keeps pouring out. *ick!* All I really have is posts, so new earrings it is.
There was, however, a problem. I had NO idea what gauge I was. And up until a few seconds ago, I knew nothing about gauges and what you usually start out on. The guy, Akim, called over a manager, Alica, to take a look at my earring and determine the size. She said 16, so I went with a couple of 18's to be safe. That, along with a bout of fangirling out and buying an A.F.I. sticker and patch, along with this month's issue of Revovler led to my spending $35 at Hot Topic.
I've only been in Hot Topic once that I can recall and walked out without having bought anything. Gawwwwwwd, was that time ever hard for me.
Next stop: Zumiez. I knew that they'd have some decent Vans shoes and prices on them. Macy's might carry Vans...but probably jacks up the price, so I want no part of Macy's. So anyways, yeah, I get in, look up to my left and spot a pair made just for me. SOLID BLACK. And they fit like they were cut just for my feet. Oh. I was in heaven. I loved them. And they were only $54, which was very much less than what I was expecting.
Cha-ching! says the cash register.
....I did something today that I'd swear I'd never do. For months now, Amber, along with a good bit of my friends, have been begging me to buy makeup from M.A.C. I was very adamant on not spending $14 on one little thing of eyeshadow.
Well, guess what? I'm running out of purple eyeshadow. I FUCKING BROKE DOWN and walked into the M.A.C store. And instantly spotted this one shade of purple, called Nocturnelle. Same shade I wore on New Years Eve - first time ever wearing M.A.C., which was the same night that I met both Jade and Davey from A.F.I. (so now that color holds senimental value). After getting some advice from the cosmetic girls there about what shades would compliment my eye color AND go with white or blue, the girl who was helping me recommended that same color.
Weird.
So I caved and bought it. Called Amber from the mall to find out where the hell she went off to last night, and was given quite a shocker for gossip. It pleased me so, and envied me to think that she got to witness what she did and I didn't. But it's just as well. I wasn't feeling too hot last night and also, if I had been there to see what happened, I might have had mulitple orgasams right then and there.
So we'll leave it at that. No bugging, please.
Went home after that, put all my stuff away and went to put in one of the half hoops or whatever in my ear. Turns out that Alica was wrong about my gauge size. I wasn't a 16, I was a 20 and I just stretched my piercing without realizing it. Not that I mind. Yeah, that shit hurt for like a millisecond. But the earring I have in now looks really good. And it's funny that she thought I was a 16, because the hoop I had in previously to this one gives that illusion. I had one in that has a little clasp on the top of the earring. It's one of those ones that you have to push the little metal wire into the earring to make it look whole. And the earring itself looks like a 16 gauge. So that's where she got the idea that I was at that gauge level.
Hehehe, I just stretched my upper ear. I wasn't even planning to, either.
But now, it's back to reality. Have to pay off my bills tomorrow. Yay. Must remember to pick up the younger sister a birthday card and stationary.
I should have more information on those workshops for you soon, if any of you really are interested.
Rock. Peace!

However, I'm jealous of you. I hear so much talk about Hot Topic.. but have never been near one (there aren't any in Canada)
