wooo-hooo! I had the coolest, craziest experience yesterday. There is going to be an airshow in Milwaukee coming up this weekend, and to promote it, the Red Baron Pizza Squadron was giving free rides on their old biplanes to contest winners and media photographers. Sweet! I was up for an hour zooming all over Milwaukee at 14,000 feet in a small WWII baron plane. the pilot did a bunch of barrell rolls and flips and such- makes a roller coaster seem tame. Good stuff- on of the things about the job I will sorely miss.


otherwise doing well. I am waiting for my mileage check to arrive to I can buy my plane ticket to bangkok, which will get me to 'Nam. I am so excited about this I can't believe it is going to happen. I guess it will seem real once I get on the plane and go- every other time I have travelled that is the way it has been.
