You see, this is where I am confused. John Kerry claims that he has a plan for our nation. A plan for our foreign policy, our economy, healthcare, and other very important issues that ails our nation today. And HE DOES!!! So why the fuck doesn't he just come straight forward and SAY IT?!?!?!?! Grow some balls Mr. John F Kerry!! Blow that Bush outta the water!

The reason why I am saying this is because of the debates last night. Personally I believe it was a draw due to the fact that Kerry, in the beggining, was being very very vague about Iraq. I know that he has a plan. I read it myself on his website. And even though it is not perfect, I support his a hell of alot more than Bush's. But why wasn't he stating the major points of his plan during the debate? People say that he wouldn't have had the time in his one minute time periods. But according to Roberts Rules the moderator, Jim Lehr, has the right to give a thirty second extension to each debater at his/her own discression. Granted, Jim did do that once or twice for Kerry. But that was in the last half of the debate when both candidates were debating on the issue of N. Korea. yes, N. Korea is an important one. But why does this issue deserve more merit of specifics than Iraq? Aren't there troops and innocent civilians dying there everyday? Isn't there a drastic need for a better plan there? So why didn't either candidate give specifics for future plans to stabilize the crisis there?

The other reason on why I thought that it was a draw was because Bush was sticking to his "vote for me or shit will happen" fear tactic. That seems to have been working because the public has been scared shitless beyond belief. The public will continue to buy this. So as long as Bush continues with this arguement, he will always be winning on a certain level. Kerry can fight this tactic effectively by giving the people hope with SPECIFICS. Not "I can do a better job than this guy, so there." strategy. I mean, when a person tells me that something is the way it is without any reasons, examples, or specifics, I wouldn't believe a single word in any of their claims. But the thing is, I believe Kerry when he says that he has a plan. But not everybody that is planning to vote looks at Kerry's website to see what he stands for. Kerry should know this. He should be taking advantage of these debates as a chance to tell the public what he wants to do for this nation as president. Not just do a shameless plug-in of his website and expect the viewers to immediately get off of their asses and look that shit up. I know I am sorta saying that the public is dumb. But truth is they dont care enough to take the time to look into that stuff. If they did that then we wouldnt have a complete ass in office fucking things up for us or atleast not put the same ass in office two times in a row.

So in closing, I don't think Kerry did that all too good of a job last night. He coulda done better. And I hope that he will next time. Especially if it is going to be dealing with the economy. Because people are really hurting right now and they need to hear something that will fill their hearts with some sort of hope.

And that's the end of that long winded rant. I hope I didn't bore you if you have read thus far.
