I had been admiring Midnight from afar when she started following me and connecting with me so you can imagine how thrilled I was that she noticed me and my work among all the amazingly talented photogs on SG ! We'd react to each other IG stories, laugh at memes (especially the ones about tauruses since we both are ones), comment each other posts and quickly realized we'd also get along well IRL !
When she invited me in Amsterdam to shoot I was over the moon ! I'd finally get to meet her and make magic with her (and my dear @loveless and @drew đź’—). Amsterdam was an absolute dream you guys. It was my first time there and it was amazing, it's such a beautiful city and I'll cherish the memories we made there forever ! And Midnight...Ooh this woman you guys...
See, she and I are both intersectional feminists and share a lot of fights and opinions, that gotta make you feel close at some point đź’™ She's a powerhouse of a woman, so strong, courageous, fierce, confident and vocal and I truly admire all of that about her but also the fact that she doesn't fear being vulnerable and expressing it and ask for help and care from others when she needs it. We often forget to check on our strongest friends because we think they'll be ok no matter what. We're complex beings and I love her in all the facets of what makes her who she is !
Midnight and her husband are the most generous people I've ever met, seriously 💖 I'm humbled I can call them friends, that our bond is still going strong after a year apart and that we're making projects together for the near future ! Midnight is the kind of person that will give everything to you if she loves you so one really gotta be deserving of her precious friendship ! But when you are, ooh what a treat and an honor, I hope I bring as much happiness in her life as she does mine ! I never feel myself as much as when she's hyping me up hahaha. I could go on for days so I'll stop now but please keep the love coming ! We're both SO proud of the set(s hehehe) we crafted together and it would be the BEST to see this one on FP 🙏💫
