Hello there, it's been a while.
Before talking about exciting things (or any particular project), I would like to let you know what has been going on these past few months.
To start,
Life is very good: I moved into our first house, opened my first art & photography studio, have a new instrument to play with... in short, things are coming together.
But it took some time to get there.
It took time and patience and commitment... It took going through everything and sorting it, inside and out.
I've been trying to live from art for a very long time, with barely any structure ('cause discipline and organization are not my strong suits). Instead, I was trying, failing, studying, learning and building... paving the path to what I really want.
Of course, my mind says: "It's probably because you're not good enough that you're not where you want to be."
But it's what makes me happy. Creating makes me happy. And I'll never stop. If I did, I'd lose my identity, I'd lose my purest and deepest passion.
So, anyway,
I'm not complaining, far from it!
It was simply to let you know why I disappear sometimes.
I'm just trying to work towards my highest goals.
Right now, though, I would really like to go on a desert island and just, be. Without any distractions.
Without obligations and expectations from others (work, friends, social life...)
I really, really treasure my solitude. It's also my best creative environment.
But, honestly, I love what I do, even if it's exhausting sometimes,
and it has been these past few weeks especially!
As I look across my kitchen table covered in papers, I realize, it's almost done!
Until the next tasks..!
Ah well, we'll get there! I have faith (in myself and in life)!
Also, I'm really grateful to know that you -totally amazing souls- exist, and are probably going through similar things at times.
I know we're not here to judge anyone, and it feels nice to know there are safe places to just be ourselves.
Okay, getting a little dramatic,
