Did you know that I paint? draw? sing? dance? write? take photographs?
I'm probably forgetting other creative activities that I do.
Thing is, I work on everything simultaneously... that means, I start one thing, then another, and another, and rarely get one project done. You probably heard this before, but apparently, a piece of art is never really complete.
For perfectionists like me, there's always something to do, something to change.
When I decide to put something out as "done", it always feels like it could've been better and maybe it was too soon to show it to the world.
I'm slowly getting over this, learning to let go and let the art be... unfinished? lol
My trilogy is something different though, I can't make it available to all unless I'm satisfied and proud of it. The story and the world I created is too important, and I feel like I only have one chance to make a good impression.
Art is subjective, but words are a lot more direct. We can judge the quality of a book much more than simply qualifying a photo or painting... But, since it's my baby, my biggest project ever, it's worth every moment and effort that I put into it. It's the only media with which I can clearly describe what's going on in my imagination.
I'll probably talk more about art some other time... got lots of things to do, as usual xD
Have a great day y'all xx
