Its been a LONG time since I posted any kind of update, so heres a general update for any that care. Ive spent a lot of time with friends at a local bars Karaoke night - which is drunk people basically screaming and/or howling into a mic. Thankfully Ive been drunk as well. I finally have my house on the market. I thought that would be a good thing, but Im losing huge money thanks to the various situations in and around my neighborhood since I moved in. I have not made one single pass in the Mustang this year and wont before the track closes for the year. I got it running pretty decently, then pulled the supercharger off of it and went to smaller fuel injectors. My thought was that a NA motor would break-in better and need less tuning. So far that been true. Ive sold some parts from it to make way for better stuff, so its currently not running. The color work on the halfsleeve is completely done, but Im turning it into a fullsleeve. Actually Shannon is starting on it tomorrow (Tuesday, 10-04). My friend Genies FRIGGIN AWESOME Accord was killed by a combination of Katrina, the bitch and low-life thieves, those bitches, right after she finally had it perfect and that still pisses me off. A good friend of mine was damn near killed at work. Chris was a tech at a Ford dealer and the short story is a wash rack guy drove a car through the wall of Chris bay and ran him over pinning him under the car. They say hell be ok, but still.... I went to all three days of the NHRA ORiley Nationals here in Memphis and got to spend time with Robert Height and his crew. It was tremendously hot with temps of 104* with a heat index of 121-124* at the track each day. I was sunburned anywhere that I wasnt clothed, it sucked, but the Nitro fumes make you forget about that. BB&T are finally getting the twin-turbo car down the track running 7.15@204 in Bowling Green last weekend. Well thats it for me, I gotta get some sleep so that I can be wide awake for the pain tomorrow will bring.
