So I've been looking for new music lately, anybody got any recs? Recently I've been turned onto No Age, Empire of the Sun, and Avett Bros.

so it's my birthday. I turn 30, which I am cool with. Plus I got a funny email saying don't call it 30, call it XXX, because that sounds cooler. I like that plan.

so I found this band from a mixtape my buddy made awhile ago -- Theatre of Disco is an electronic group from Australia. What is it with Australia and good electronic music? Cut Copy, The Presets, Avalanches, etc etc.

Anyway, the trio of Theatre of Disco don't really have a sound I can nail down -- it's mostly dancey electronic rock, or maybe rocky electronica....
