As for West Side Story, it's been a long time since I've seen it. The whole Officer Krupke scene was one of my favorites.. I know "The Jet Song" was always one I would sing along with as a kid, haha... Stephen Sondheim did the lyrics. You wouldn't happen to be a Sweeney Todd fan, would you?
