It is my belief that human beings are generaly compashionate, and selfless creatures. We are not natually selfish, small and brutish.

I like to think that the world is not comprised of macevelians, where we're constantly stabbing one another in the back just to get a better foot hold on the ladder to the top.

...But sometimes I can't help but think that we are hopeless and biligerant creatures.
All too often i find that ignorance prevailes over intelligence.
All too often i find that we are all too quick to judge.

Ask yourself this: Would you love me more if our skin were the same?

Would you trust me more if we were of the same faith?

Will your hand be there if I am in need?

Could you love me if my teeth were shaken and torn from their gums? ...if my clothes were few, and my nightside table was nothing more than a walkway?

I would like to think that you could, but sadly I know that you cannot.
