Ok, so I haven't actually started posting in my journal since I joined the site. Stupid me! It's not like I'm ever short on words. I gotta keep myself on task....I procrastinate waayyyy too much.

I can't wait to see me friends in Indianapolis next week! I miss them all soooooo much! I got to visit a month ago but for all the wrong reasons. We had a good friend of ours commit suicide and that really is a shitty way to catch up with loved ones. It is really hard when yoou are one of the only ones out of a group of about 30 people who do not live in the city. Makes me really sad to not be in their lives on a regular basis....

I've been in Chicago for two and a half years now and have somehow become a slave to the job. That really sucks! But, it is good to know that my job is REALLY secure. And to have insurance...yay. It had been years! But there goes the social life that I was used to.

Anyway, drinking a beer and sitting at home posting on the boards for the last three days. I love this community! So many people here seem to have a handle on what is going on in NOLA....At least as far as the press lets us be.
Ok, enough for the moment....go back to my neverending task of updating the boards as I see fit...
