At first, thnak you for everyone who came visit me while I stream on SuicideGirls twitch channel! It was a lot of fun! I am still feel pretty new in streaming but thansk SG world I go deeper into this and I really like it!
So, playing Half-Life 2 feels pretty close to our Blog Homework topic today! Thanks you @RAMBO @LYXZEN @MISSY (and, speaking about twitch streaming, big thanks to @rambo for make a deal with all issues I had <3). Well, if you know me, you know that my geek way started when I was a child. Comics, sci-fi, technologies and, ofcource, videogames. It is a love for all my life and I am not shame about it!
When I was a kid, I mostly play consoles, like Sega Dreamcast, and, before this, Famicom/NES (it was called Dendy in Russia). Ah, it was a sweet time, I still remeber how I tryed to get new cartridges and change some of them with freinds. And those games: Dune, Alien, Darkwing Duck, Mario, Sonic! Still love it and even play in some of them on PSP. But my fav ever old console games was Battle City. I played with my sister and we could spent a hours in that, without break for food or go out! Ah, I still can hear the sound of this game in my head when I type this words :) Even for today, I think this game is amazing and it is real timekiller!
When I got my first PC I got involved in PC games world, wich was mostly consisted of consoles games ports and some PC exclusive games... It was good old time when PC games and console games did not cross so much and consoles not retarded gamedev industry like nowadays. Ah, how much time I spent playing in Doom, then Doom 2, Wolfenstein, Quake, then Half-Life and addons for this (still love Blue Shift)! But the RPG genre was a real opening for me, and now, I am sure, talk about great Fallout 2 wich I love since 1998 for today (yes, I used to play in this again couple month ago and it is still terrific). And then, in 2003, Star Wars KotoR wich I played, maybe, 30 more times! Well, old Star wars games is really single and very good topic for me too, because there are few really nice of them...
In the end, all what I loved in my childhood I still love and I guess it is for all my life with me like my geek soul :) I really want to know what was your fav games when you was a kid and do you play in some of them now?
