because facebook is my life now....i was taking a quiz today called "what is your ideal man." and it pretty much hit it right on the money....
You need a man who can take care of you. Someone who has his shit together, is professional, intelligent, and motivated. He may work long hours, and travel... a lot, but in the long run, he does it all for you. He is focused, punctual, practical and down to earth. You respect a man that has such strong work ethics, and it's hard for you to accept anything less. In return, he'll ask that you be a good homemaker, and that you prepare meals, keep the house clean, and care for your children while he is away earning the money. This is just fine with you, and is actually something you don't mind at all. Just be sure to make time for just the 2 of you, and remember to keep that passion alive so that neither of you get a wandering eye.
interesting that i've never quite dated this kind of guy. i've gotten close. i have dated men who wanted to do everything for me. but i never stay happy. what is with that?!?!
it's like i have to date the asshole. it's almost like i need the hunt or something. i'm so carrie bradshaw it's not even funny. it's the struggle of aiden vs. mr. big. i'll go for mr. big everytime.
here are pretty pics....i actually showered and got dressed last night because my friend jackie forced me out of the house. it was weird because her husband and the ex work together. but it was actually nice. i felt the need to get dressed up....
so we're on day 3 of the break up, and things are going better. i'm starting to see the flaws that you don't see when you are in it. so it's getting better. it's fading. i scored a huge tv out of the deal. he didn't take any of the furniture from the living room, including a 40 something inch tv. he also left a hooka from iraq and this glass mugs from his proms. he said he wanted me to have them because they meant a lot to him.
i need to thank all of you again for such amazing comments and concern. but i'd like to single out Cassy and Elizagirl for what you both wrote to me. both of what you amazing ladies had to say, made the lightbulb go off in my head and has made some of this stuff easier. because you are both so right, and i need to realize that he wasn't the right person for me for life. he just wasn't.
i am a playlist queen....so when things end, i am all about making the break up cd to help get me through. i figued i'd share my latest one.

it's sad though....still sad. one of my friends from work said i am like drew barrymore. lol when i asked "what?!" he said that i love with everything in me, and even when it doesn't work out, i never lose my belief in love and keep on going. which is weird really, you think i'd be all bitter betty by now.
okay enough of my love babble....RIP patrick swayze
and kayne west....DOUCHEBAG....he can apologize all he wants, but he still sucks. and beyonce, the epitome of class.
now for the best performance from the vmas....
