ah, down to the last night of leave. it kinda sucks to realize that on monday, i've got piles and piles of work waiting for me, not to mention trying to get a tracked vehicle up and running mere hours before a week-long field exercise. Ought to be interesting, if nothing else!
Leave was exactly what I needed, though. Finally got a chance to slow down and breathe a little. Also got in some snuggling that I've been desparately needing to catch up on. Sorry, but I'm a very affectionate / physical touching person. For me, going a week without a hug is murder.
Anyway, there's plenty of smoked bacon and assorted brats at my place right now that I can't possibly finish on my own, so if anyone is near 71st and Yale, please drop by and help me!
