Fall begins and I begin to think about fires in the evening and jam sessions outside; passing the jug of whiskey to stay warm. And of course of the annual Bouchier. The slaughtering of a hog. It is an old custom that use to provide meat for the winter and those that live around but now is just something that is done like a bar-b-que: except the meat is not bought dead. Although I would like to beleive that it is also done in rememberance of our culture and past.
The record company I have partnered with will be releaseing it first cd in April. It will be a 4 cd box set of Cajun and Creole music. It traces it from its recored begining to present.

here is me and one of my partners in the record company in Austin.
