My baby got smashed!
I was at a red light and there were two left hand turn lanes, I was in the right.
When the light turned green and I began turning, the truck to the left of me turned too wide and side swiped me. He proceeded in driving, got onto the highway, and starting halling ass. Of course I was pissed and shocked he didn't pull over, so I followed him, reaching a speed of 90 going in and out of traffic....I know it was a dangerous thing to do! He finally exited, as did I, and I pulled up next to him at a red light screaming to pull over. The girl in the passenger seat kept yelling back, "We're sorry!" and I said, then pull over! So they pulled into a motel behind a Denny's, he got out of the truck and started walking to my car. He was crying with his hands on his hand and a terrified look on his face and said to me, "Please don't call the cops I'm sorry I don't know what to do I'm gonna go to jail!" And ran off toward the motel. The cops were already arriving and started running after him. Another stayed and got my info and was talking to the passenger. Because the accident happened in another city and I had to chase him, we had to wait for the cops of that city to get there for the actual accident report. While waiting they were searching the truck, and hounding the girl to get out info about the driver. Turns out it wasn't even their truck, they didn't have insurance, and they were in town from Louisiana with a suspicious story as to why. Then they found a sandwich bag and an empty baby wipe container full of coke. I don't know if they ever found the guy, but the girl was arrested, the truck was towed, and I'm stuck with a $500 deductable fee from my insurance, estimated $2,000 in damage, and it'll take 7 days to repair. All and all, it was an exciting experience, like being on the set a cops tv episode!
